Disorders of urinary tract must be timely and properly diagnosed to determine the appropriate therapy. The most common imaging method indicated in urology is sonography. Other methods used for testing the kidneys and urinary tract include intravenous excretory urography, computed tomography and additional examinations such as excretory voiding cystouretrography, magnetic resonance imaging or renal scintigraphy. Diagnostic radiologic technologist is responsible for high quality images with the smallest dose of radiation. Good communication helps patients overcome fear of examinations, patients feel comfortable and better cooperate with the medical staff. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
