The Master thesis "The Comparison of the Czech and Slovak governments between 1992 and 2002" deals with the problem of the establishment of governments, the main coalition and oposition parties and the main situations of political life of Czech and Slovak governments in this period. The thesis is divided into three chapters. Chapter one is an introduction to the topic and focuses on the process of constitution development in both countries, which was taking place in the period of the Federation. The second chapter covers the period from 1992 to 1998 and the third chapter 1998 to 2002. The following section constitutes the comparison of these specific periods. The main comparison parameters are: the stability of the party systems, the consolidation of the society, and the foreign policy development. The Czech Republic appears to be better in this excercise. It's party system is far more stabilized and it's society is much more homogenic. As argued in the thesis, this result is mainly due to the lack of any anti-democratic and authoritative element on the political scene, as it was in the period of Meciar's government in Slovakia. During this period of nearly six years, Slovakia had fallen behind in all areas of society development, in comparison to other countries, namely the Czech Republic. Fortunately due... Podstatou tejto práce bolo porovnanie Českej republiky a Slovenskéj republiky v oblastiach, ktoré sa porovnat dajú. Pri porovnávaní som sa snažil čo najobjektívnejšie zhodnocovat faktory, ktoré som zvolil, a to stabilitu stranického systému, konsolidáciu spoločnosti a zahraničnopolitický vývoj oboch krajin. Už v úvode som sa snažil zohladniť isté specifické rozdiely českej a slovenskej spoločnosti, ktoré sťažujú přistup k problematike. Je teda jasné, že zjednodušenie porovnávania len na spomenuté tri parametre može byť vnímané ako nedostačujúce, no podlá mňa pokrývajú najdoležitejšie oblasti politického života spoločnosti. Z práce jednoznačné vyplývajú dóvody a dosledky istých krokov politických elit oboch krajin, ktoré pri poslednom zúčtovaní posúvajú Českú republiku mierne navrch. Česká spoločnosť sa nemusel vysporiadať s autoritářským sposobom vládnutia, ktorý zabrzdil Slovensko nielen v ekonomickej a zahranično-politickej oblasti, ale hlavně pri kryštalizácii a stabilizácii stranického systému. Už od rozdelenia sa stranicky systém v Českej republike rýchlo stabilizoval a voličská afiliácia voličov s politickými stranami a hnutiami je už tradičné omnoho silnéjšia ako na Slovensku. Dokazuje to aj fakt, že pri vzniku vládnych koalícii v SR pravicovo/Iavicové pravidlá politického spektra nehrajú dóležitú...
