Terawattový jodový laserový system PALS již třetím rokem úspěšně slouží badatelům z domova i ze zahraničí a stal se tak významnou součástí sít velkých evropských laserů.Přehled shrnuje výzkumné aktivity PALSu v období 2000-2002,popisuje současně technické možnosti zařízení i perspektivy jeho dalšího vývoje. The PALS iodine terawatt laser system has been successfully serving both domestic and foreign researchers for already the third year, representing thus an important part the network of large European lasers.The PALS research activities in the period 2000-2002 are summarized in the paper, and its present technical capabilities and prospects of their further development are described.
