Abstract: Increasing industrial importance of thermally sprayed deposits accelerates the need for reliable and sufficietly copmlex microstructure characterization techniques.Practice has shown that industry standard techniques-image analysis of cross sections and intrusion porosimetry-do not yield enough detailed picture to able to distinguish properties controlling mechanisms.
