Abstract: The velocity and trajectories of particles injected into thermal plasma jet were measured for hybrid argon/water plasma torch. Effect of argon flow rate on distribution of particle velocities was investigated. Two-dimensional model of particle motion in plasma jet was formulated and computation results were compared with measurements.
