Abstract: This paper presents the consideration on the change judgement of J integral and Q parameter as the base parameters of two parameter elastic-plastic fracture mechanics. An extensive 3D FEM analysis of SE(B) specimens deals with crack front conditions which are characterised in J-Q trajectories.
