Na základě dat o lomové houževnatosti pro manganovou ocel na kontejner vyhořelého jaderného paliva a tlakovou nádobu reaktoru byly v práci studovány různé aspekty metodologie master křivky. Byly přitom testovány různé postupy určování referenční teploty. Současně byly sledována přenositelnost lomově mechanických charakteristik z malých těles typu Charpy s trhlinou na standardní zkušební tělesa. Various aspects of the master curve methodology have been investigated experimentally based on data obtained with different pressure vessel and container steel. A manganese cast steel has been utilised being considered for storage containers of spent nuclear fuel. Different methodologies of reference temperature determination have been followed. Transferability of data from small pre-cracked specimens to standard ones has been also followed.
