Abstract: The microstructure of CoCrAlY, NiCrAlY and CoCrNiWFe plasma sprayed coatings was studied by analytical TEM in the initial state and after thermal treatment. Annealing at 1173 K resulted in precipitation of fine Al-rich particles and formation of Al-depleted zone near the interface.
