Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit, jaké podmínky a jaké prostředí je optimální pro děti, které v současné době stále častěji nastupují do předškolních zařízení před dovršením třetího roku života, nezřídka i ve dvou letech, a proto je potřeba hledat vhodná řešení pro jejich optimální rozvoj. Dále je práce zaměřena na zmapování přístupu k dětem zmiňované věkové kategorie, sledování podmínek vzdělávání, a na připravenost prostředí v zařízeních typu Montessori. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části jsou popsána vývojová specifika konce batolecího a počátku předškolního období a podmínky vzdělávání. Závěr teoretické části je zaměřen na vysvětlení základních principů metody Marie Montessori. V praktické části jsou popsány použité metody výzkumu, a to pozorování v zařízeních typu Montessori, rozhovory s učitelkami a anketa. The objective of the bachelor thesis is to ascertain what conditions and environments are the most favourable for children who begin to attend preschool establishments before reaching the third year of age or even at two years of age, which has currently been a growing trend that requires looking for appropriate methods allowing their optimal development. The thesis also surveys the approach to the children of the above stated age bracket, and monitors the educational conditions and readiness of the environment in Montessori establishments. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the development specifics of the late toddler age and the early preschool age, and the conditions of education. The conclusion of the theoretical part explains basic principles of Marie Montessori's method. The practical part describes the research methods used in the thesis, namely observation in Montessori establishments, interviews with teachers, and a survey.
