Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá nezaměstnaností, především důsledky, které s sebou zejména dlouhodobá nezaměstnanost přináší. Míra nezaměstannosti je velmi důležitým makroekonomickým ukazatelem. Je zde vypracován ucelený přehled vývoje nezaměstna-nosti v České republice, ale pro srovnání je zde zmíněn i vývoj nezaměstnanosti v zemích Evropské unie a Eurozóny a okrajově je zde zmíněna i nezaměstnanost v USA a Japonsku. Závěr práce je soustředěn na nezaměstnanost v okrese Jičín, na pracovní příležitosti v okrese a na pocity nezaměstnaných. This thesis deals with unemployment, in particular the consequences that come with it, in particular long-term unemployment brings. The rate of nezaměstannosti is a very important macroeconomic indicator. Here is a comprehensive overview of the development of unem-ployment, drawn up in the Czech Republic, but for comparison here is mentioned the de-velopment of unemployment in the countries of the European Union and the eurozone and is mentioned here and the unemployment rate in the United States and Japan. Conclusion of the work is concentrated on unemployment in the Jičín district, on jobs in the district and to the feelings of the unemployed
