Tématem této diplomové práce je Globální digitální propast. Diplomová práce se v první části zabývá minulostí, přítomností a budoucností internetu. Jakým směrem a jakou rychlostí by se měl vyvíjet. Dále problematikou globální digitální propasti, jejím vymezením, příčinou, dopadem a nápravou. Praktickou část této práce tvoří tři hlavní části. První částí je digitální propast ve světě, rozdíly ve využívání internetu mezi územími světa. Druhou a hlavní částí je digitální propast v Evropě, kde jsou porovnány státy Evropy ve využívání internetu. Třetí částí je digitální propast v České republice, zde jsou porovnány kraje této země. Výsledky analýzy jsou zaznamenány v grafech a graficky znázorněny na vytvořených mapách. The theme of this thesis is the Global digital divide. The first part deals with past, present and future of the Internet. What direction and what speed should be evolve. Further with the problems of the global digital divide, demarcation, causes, impacts and redress. The practical part of this work consists of three main parts. In the first part is digital divide in the world and differences of using the internet between the territories of the world. In the second and main part is the digital divide in Europe, which compares countries in Europe in using the internet. The third part is a digital divide in the Czech Republic, there are compared regions of the country. The analysis results are wrote down in the graphs and shown graphically in created maps.
