Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou a komparací základních demografických procesů České a Slovenské republiky v letech 1993-2014. Analýze je podroben stav obyvatelstva, především z hlediska struktury dle věku, pohlaví a ekonomické aktivity. Komparovány jsou demografické procesy - porodnost, úmrtnost, potratovost, sňatečnost, rozvodovost a migrace. Práce analyzuje vzniklé odlišnosti mezi Českou a Slovenskou republikou a hledá jejich příčiny. Zjištěné výsledky uvádí, zda dochází k přibližování demografických procesů, či naopak se již samostatné země diferencují. Vybraným demografických procesů je na základě trendových funkcí predikován jejich budoucí vývoj. V závěru práce jsou uvedena doporučení, která by mohla nepříznivý demografický vývoj odvrátit. The topic of my diploma thesis is an analysis and comparison of basic demographic processes, both in Czech Republic and Slovak Republic, in the years 1993-2014. The subject is the status of the population, especially in terms of structure by age, sex and economic activity. Thesis makes a comparison of demographic processes - birth rate, mortality, abortion, marriage, divorce rate and migration. The thesis analyzes the resulting differences and looks for their causes. Selected demographic processes are predicted into the future; the next development is estimated with help of basic trend functions. The conclusion proposes some possible recommendations which could revert the negative future trends.
