Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá Montessori pedagogikou a postoji rodičů, z jakého důvodu volí tuto vzdělávací alternativu pro své dítě v předškolním věku. Teoretická část je věnována předškolním institucím v České republice, její charakteristice, vymezením typů předškolních zařízení jako jsou běžné mateřské školy a alternativní předškolní instituce. Jedna podkapitola je věnována současné rodině a jejímu vztahu ke vzdělávání předškolního dítěte. Dále se zmiňuji o samotné Marii Montessoriové a jejích vzdělávacích metodách a principech. V praktické části je realizováno dotazníkové šetření s rodiči, jejichž dítě navštěvuje Montessori mateřskou školu. Výzkumná část zjišťuje postoj rodičů k předškolnímu vzdělávání, důvody jejich výběru předškolní instituce a jejich následnou spokojenost s vybranou mateřskou školou. This bachelor's thesis deals with Montessori pedagogy and then it investigates the reason of parents for choosing this educational option for their child in a preschool age. The theoretical part is dedicated to preschool establishments in the Czech Republic and their characteristic. Next it is defining types of preschool e establishments such as ordinary kindergartens and alternative preschool institutions. One subhead is focused on a contemporary family and its attitude to education of a preschool child. Furthermore I mention Marie Montessori herself and her educational methods and principles. The practical part is based on a survey with parents whose child is attending Montessori kindergarten. The research section is trying to find out an attitude of parents to preschool education, reasons for choosing a preschool institution and their resulting satisfaction with a selected kindergarten.
