V rámci diplomové práce byla provedena analýza 60 biologických vzorků psů, u nichž se projevila epilepsie. Byl zjišťován vztah mezi genotypem ve vybraném lokusu a výskytem epilepsie. Na základě zjištěných výsledků analýz bylo provedeno zhodnocení, zda existuje prokazatelný vztah mezi výskytem epilepsie a genotypem v daném lokusu. Dle dosažených výsledků nebyl prokázán vliv tohoto genotypu na věk prvního epileptického záchvatu. In my thesis I concentrated on an analysis of biological samples of 60 dogs, which manifested epilepsy. The aim was to find out the relation between genotype of the selected locus and the occurrence of epilepsy. Based on the results of the analysis, I assessed, whether there is a demonstrable relation between the occurrence of epilepsy and genotype in a particular locus. According to the results, no influence of genotype on the age of first epileptic seizure was proved.
