Cílem této práce je prostudování odborné literatury zaměřené na češtinu jako cizí jazyk a na výuku češtiny jako cizího jazyka pro rodilé vietnamské mluvčí. Dále se práce bude zabývat sociolingvistickou analýzou jazykové situace vietnamské menšiny v České republice, s ohledem na jazykové podmínky při udělování trvalého pobytu na území České republiky. The aim of this work is to review the literature focused on Czech as a foreign language and the teaching of Czech as a foreign language for native Vietnamese speakers. Furthermore, it will deal with the sociolinguistic analysis of the language situation of the Vietnamese minority in the Czech Republic, with regard to the language conditions in the granting of permanent residence on the territory of the Czech Republic.
