Populace sladkovodní ryby Thymallus thymallus jsou výrazně ovlivněné intenzivním rybářským obhospodařováním řek ve střední Evropě. Tyto aktivity zapříčiňují umělý genetický drift mezi populacemi z geograficky izolovaných hydrologických celků. Genetická struktura 369 jedinců T. thymallus z 21 populací ze tří povodí České republiky byla studována na základě analýzy markerů mtDNA (kontrolní oblast) i jaderné DNA (7 mikrosatelitních lokusů)a výsledky byly porovnány s obdobnými studiemi z Evropy. Populations of freshwater fish Thymallus thymallus are considerably affected by intensive human mediated stock transfer in the rivers of Central Europe. These activities cause exogenous genetic drift among populations from geographical isolated hydrological units. Genetic structure of 369 T. thymallus individuals of 21 populations from three river basins of the Czech Republic was studied based on analysing of both mtDNA (control region) and nuclear DNA (7 microsatellites loci) markers and the results were compared with similar studies from European region.
