Práce se zabývá islámskou funerální kulturou v normativním islámu a v České republice. První polovina práce popisuje úkony, tradice a zvyklosti spojené s funerální kulturou. Text se drží přirozené časové linie, tedy paliativní péče, umírání, poté smrt a krátká zmínka o posmrtném životě. Dále rituální očista, modlitba za mrtvé, pohřeb, truchlení a podoba hrobů v nominativním islámu. Druhá polovina textu se věnuje komunitě muslimů a jejich organizacím v České republice, pohřbívání muslimů na našem území a především popisuje a porovnává tři muslimské hřbitovy v Praze, Brně a Třebíči. Nakonec v práci popisuji a vysvětluji problémy, které mají muslimové ve spojitosti s pohřbíváním v Čechách, a poukazuje na jejich možná řešení. The paper deals with Islamic funeral culture in normative Islam and in the Czech Republic. The first half of the paper describes the actions, traditions and customs associated with funeral culture. The text follows natural time line, then palliative care, dying, death, and after a brief mention of the afterlife. As well as cleansing ritual, prayer for the dead, burial, mourning and grave appearance in nominative Islam. The second half of the text is devoted to minority Muslims and their organizations in the Czech Republic, burying Muslims in our country and mainly describes and compares the three Muslim cemeteries in Praha, Brno and Třebíč. Finally, in the paper I describe and explain the problems that Muslims have in connection with burials in the Czech Republic, and points to possible solutions.
