Cílem této bakalářské práce je analýza ekologického zemědělství v Zambii. Teoretická část práce se věnuje deskripci problematiky ekologického zemědělství v rozvojových zemích, agroekologických podmínek v Zambii a charakteristiky agrárního sektoru. Praktická část používá SWOT analýzu k posouzení potenciálu ekologického zemědělství v Zambii. Výsledné hodnocení přínosů a hrozeb ekologického zemědělství je diskutováno se čtyřmi případovými studiemi. Na základě vyhodnocení teoretické i praktické části byly formulovány závěry, že implementace ekologického zemědělství v Zambii je považována za úspěšnou a představuje lepší alternativu v současnosti převažujícího konvenčního zemědělství a přispívá k regionálnímu, respektive trvale udržitelnému rozvoji. The aim of this thesis is to analyze conservation farming in Zambia. The theoretical part is focused on description of problems of conservation farming in third world countries, agro-ecological conditions in Zambia and characteristics of the agrarian sector. The practical part uses SWOT analysis to assess the potential of conservation farming in Zambia. The final assessment is discussed with four case studies of benefits and risks. Based on the theoretical and practical parts of this thesis, the implementation of conservation farming in Zambia is considered a success and it is a better alternative to current prevailing conventional agriculture. Conservation farming in Zambia contributes to regional, or sustainable development.
