Abstract: Analytical study of commercial product Synhydrid considering impurities affecting reduction properties has been made. The reduction study of this complex hydride has been aimed to such reaction of model compounds where is no unambiguous course (reduction of conjugated system -C=C-C=O), or reaction yield is not quantitative even in high excess of hydride (alkyl and arylhalogenides).
