Cílem této bakalářské práce je popsat současnou softwarovou situaci v okruhu malých a středních firem a ukázat možnosti Open Source oproti aplikacím s uzavřeným zdrojovým kódem. Na základě testování a studie jsou objasněny možnosti Open Software. Případová studie ukazuje možnosti implementace OSS/FS v reálném prostředí. Tato práce odhaluje hlavní přednosti a nedostatky Open Software a příčiny jeho dosud malého využívání. The object of this Bachelor‘s thesis is to describe the current software situation among small and medium companies and to demonstrate the possibilities of Open Source applications compared to closed source software. The possibilities of Open Software are clarified in terms of testing and studies. Case tudies show the potential of OSS/FS implementation in real environment. This work discovers the main benefits and disadvantages of Open Software and the reasons for their hitherto small usage.
