Práce pojednává o využití metody Houghovy transformace pro detekci očí v obrazech obličeje. Věnuje se nezbytnému předzpracování obrazu, konkrétně hranové detekci. Dále pojednává o samotné Houghově transformaci a popisuje metodu pro detekci jednoduchých útvarů jako jsou přímka a kružnice. Následně je objasněna implementace Houghovy transformace pro detekci kružnic společně s algoritmem vyhodnocujícím Houghův prostor. V poslední části jsou zobrazeny dosažené výsledky a je provedeno zhodnocení algoritmu detekce společně s diskuzí nad využitím Houghovy transformace při detekci polohy očí v obrazech obličeje. The thesis discusses the detection of eyes in facial images by means of Hough transform. It is dedicated in the necessary preprocessing of the image, especially in edge detection. Further it discusses the Hough transform itself and describes the method for detection of simple shapes such as lines and circles. Subsequently, the thesis illustrates the implementation of Hough transform for detecting circles along with an algorithm evaluating Hough space. The last part contains the results and an assessment of detection algorithm along with a discussion of utilization the Hough transform for detection of eyes in facial images.
