Diplomová práce řeší návrh a statické posouzení rozhledny v brněnské zoologické zahradě na kopci Mniší hora. Konstrukce rozhledny je zamýšlena na kruhovém půdorysu a její celková výška činí 31 m. Konstrukce byla řešena ve dvou variantách. Pro obě varianty byla použita kombinace oceli a rostlého nebo lepeného lamelového dřeva. Pro podrobné zpracování byla vybrána jedna varianta. Rozhledna byla posouzena softwarem Scia Engineer 15.1. This master’s thesis deals with the design and static assessment of a lookout tower in The Brno Zoological Garden situated on the hill called Mniší hora. The construction of the lookout tower is meant to be of a circular ground plan and its overall height is 31 m. The construction was designed in two variants. For both methods was used a combination of steel and solid or glued laminated timber. For detailed elaboration was selected only one variant. The lookout tower was assessed in a Scia Engineer 15.1 software.
