Náplň mé diplomové práce tvoří projekt s názvem Graphic Design Talks spočívající v pořizování video záznamů rozhovorů s výraznými osobnostmi české scény grafického designu. Zaměřila jsem se jsem na grafické designéry narozené mezi lety 1920–1950, které spojují mnohé skutečnosti. Jejich kariéra začala v období totality, k tvorbě využívali tradiční mnohdy ruční postupy, běžně praktikované před nástupem počítačů a následně si tyto osobnosti prošly zajímavým momentem změny politického a hospodářského systému a zároveň obdobím rychlého nástupu nových médií. Tyto skutečnosti byly hlavními předměty mých otázek. Vzniklá videa jsou umísťována na Facebookovou stránku projektu spolu s fotodokumentací tvorby oslovených grafiků a jejich krátkými životopisnými medailony. V rámci mé diplomové práce vzniklo 5 rozhovorů. Projekt má ambici nadále samostatně fungovat a videa by měla v budoucnosti stále přibývat.
My diploma thesis consist in creating short videos. I have been interviewing important Czech graphic designers of an older generatin and I've been interested in socio-historical background which a profession of graphic design had before Velvet revolution and before new media coming. The project got a name Graphic Design Talks. The videos are put on Facebook with other information about each designer. I would like to continue interviewing new deigners add new videos even after I finish my study.
