Abstract: The paper describes different types of community housing and cohousing. Community housing is a type of housing for a specific group of people with the same interests or needs. From the social point of view, there are different communities: the elderly, single mothers, people with disabilities, and other people in difficult (housing) situations. Housing for these groups should be subsidised and managed “ from above”.
