Po první světové válce stály Rakousko, Německo a Československo, jejichž ústavy podrobujeme analýze, na počátku stejné cesty. Experimenty s demokracií však s výjimkou Československa skončily špatně. Podíl na tom měly také koncepty ústav, jež jeví značné rozdíly v celkovém duchu, konstrukcích moci, pojetí soudcovské moci, ochraně menšin a tzv. listině svobod a dalších ustanoveních. After World War I Austria, Germany and Czechoslovakia, whose Constitutions are the subject of this analysis, were standing at the beginning of the same way. However, with the exception of Czechoslovakia, the experiment of democracy ended in failure. This was partly due to the concepts of particular Constitutions, which show of judicial power, protection of minorities, so-called Bill of Right and other provisions.
