Abstract: The paper aims to study the concept explanation in various spheres of rational human activity, including communication. In explaining concatenation processes with respect to their goal orientation we have to take into account various aspects of the following concepts: compatibility of entities, the domain and limits of their substitution, the structure and rules governing the entities .
