Studie je zaměřena na technologické aspekty výroby potaše tj. směsi chemických látek s dominantním podílem uhličitanu draselného K 2 CO 3 . Zabývá se především tradičními způsoby výroby drasla v Čechách v 18. stol., ale i obchodem s potaší a významem tohoto odvětví rukodělné výroby v soudobém hospodářství. Příspěvek vychází z německy psaného návodu na správnou výrobu potaše z roku 1772. Study is focused on the technological aspects of the potash (potassium carbonate) production in Bohemia in the 18th century. Technology, trade with potash and importance of the potash-making for the economy of the Habsburg monarchy are thoroughly described. The article is in particular based on German instruction for correct potash making, which was published in Prague in 1772.
