Cílem tohoto článku je seznámit české znalce s principy oceňování ve Spojeném království. Příspěvek se zaměřuje na základy ocenění a jeho průběh. Tento článek přinese stručný přehled oceňovacích principů v Anglii a přiblíží současnou situaci na tamním realitním trhu. Seznámí čtenáře s procesy oceňování a typy získávání informací pro ocenění. Součást tvoří stručná charakteristika jednotlivých metod ocenění. Čtenář získá základní přehled informací o oceňování ve Spojeném království a jejich aplikaci v praxi. The aim of this article is to familiarize Czech experts with the principles of valuation in the United Kingdom. It focuses on the basics and the process of valuation. Further it gives a brief overview of the valuation principles in England and describes the current situation on the English real estate market. The article also introduces the reader to the processes of valuation, types of obtaining information for valuation and brings a brief characteristic of individual valuation methods. The reader gains basics information about valuation in the United Kingdom and its use in practice.
