Příspěvek podává přehled vývoje národopisných výzkumných pracovišť a jejich badatelského zaměření ve sledovaném období. Pokouší se zhodnotit úlohu osobností a míru deformací, způsobených komunistickou ideologií. The contribution presents the survey of the development in ethnologic research institutes and their research orientation in observed period. It tries to evaluate the role and importance of personalities and the measure of deformations, which the communistic ideology caused.
