Abstract: The aim of the project was to design and implement a rotary position senzor for sensing rotational speed of steam engines using integrated circuits from the company Austria Micro Systems. Further, a temperature sensing boilers for heating water vapor using temperature sensors from the company Texas Instruments. All information from the sensors are processed in the ATmega16 microcontroller from the company Atmel. The output data are displayed on a display composed of seven segmented blocks.
