Kontaminace dusičnany a chloridy v podzemních vodách nivy řeky Lužnice bylo monitorováno během let 1987-1993. Rychlý úbytek od terasy k řece je spojen se zředěním podzemních vod a s denitrifikací. Výsledkem změn v úrovni hnojení po roce 1989 je snížení kontaminace. The nitrate and chloride contamination in the groundwater across the floodplain LuÔnice river were monitored for the period 1987-1993. The rapid decline from the terrase to the river channel is connected to the dilution of groundwater and denitrification. As a result of change in the fertilization after 1989 the decreasing of pollution was detected.
