V této práci jsou teoreticky popsány úpravy na karoseriích automobilů, zejména jejich povrchové úpravy. Tedy předúpravy před samotným nanášením lakované vrstvy. Jsou zde popsány druhy těchto předúprav, jako je odmašťování a antikorozní ochrana. Dále se zabývá nátěrovými hmotami, jejich funkcí a aplikacemi na karoserie. Jelikož se karoserie neskládá pouze z kovových částí, je další část práce zaměřena na plasty, které jsou zde používány a také jejich lakování. In this work, the theory describes modifications to the car bodies, especially their finishes. Thus pretreatment before the coating lacquer layers. There are described the types of pre-treatment such as degreasing and corrosion protection. Also deals with the coating, and their functions and applications to the car body. Since the body does not consist only of metal, there is another part of the work focused on the plastics that are used and their painting.
