Ve světě stále častějším způsobem řešení rostoucí intenzity automobilové dopravy ve městech je zřizování záchytných parkovišť v jejich okrajových částech, která mají za úkol snížit podíl individuální automobilové dopravy. Práce je zaměřena na určení vhodných lokací a potřebných kapacit takovýchto parkovišť pro dojíždějící do města Brna ze západního a jihozápadního směru. Konkrétně se jedná o části okresů Brno-venkov a Znojmo s přesahem do okresů Třebíč a Žďár nad Sázavou kraje Vysočina. Výsledky dále přináší srovnání cestovních časů při využití přepravy pouze autem a pomocí systému Park&Ride, tedy kombinací automobilové a veřejné hromadné dopravy. The intensity of car traffic grows worldwide every year. This issue is being resolved by establishing Park&Ride car parks, a combination of car and public transport, at city outskirts. Their purpose is to reduce car congestion. This thesis focuses on targeting the most convenient locations of Park&Ride car parks for passengers travelling to Brno from west and southwest directions – specifically parts of the Brno-venkov and Znojmo districts, with overlap to the Třebíč and Žďár nad Sázavou districts in the Vysočina region. A part of this process is also to evaluate the optimal car park capacity required. The conclusion presents a comparison of the journey time by car alone and that of the Park&Ride system.
