Předmětem této práce je zpracování strategické analýzy firmy Budějovický Budvar, n.p. Jejím cílem je zhodnocení dosavadního vývoje podniku, jeho současné pozice a následné sestavení vhodného strategického doporučení, které by pomohlo podniku k trvalému růstu a získání silnější pozice v pivovarnickém odvětví. V teoretické části je rozebrána problematika strategie, strategického řízení a základních metod potřebných k vypracování strategické analýzy. Poté byly v praktické části tyto metody použity v rámci externí analýzy, která se zabývá zhodnocením podnikového okolí a interní analýzy zaměřené na vnitřní prostředí podniku. Následně byla zpracována SWOT analýza, která spojuje informace získané hodnocením vnějšího a vnitřního prostředí. Na závěr práce je vytvořen návrh strategie v podobě strategického doporučení, které by mělo vést k dosažení ekonomického růstu podniku. The subject of my thesis is creation of strategic analysis of the firm Budweiser Budvar. The objective is a review and appraisal of the companys past development, its current position on the market and lastly to recommend appropriate strategies to help the company achieve lasting economic growth and to gain stronger position in brewery industry. In teoretical part are described problems of strategy, strategic management and methods which are used for appraisal of strategic analysis. Subsequently in practical part there were used these methods under external analysis which are focused on appraisal of external environment of the company and also under internal analysis which are focused on appraisal of internal environment of the company. SWOT analysis was later created to convert information attained from the companys external and internal assessment. To conclude, my thesis intent is to create a strategic plan that would help Budweiser Budvar achieve lasting economic growth.
