Diplomová práce se zabývá řízením čtyřhvězdičkového hotelu ve španělské autonomní oblasti Katalánsko. Soustředí se především na analýzu marketingového řízení a ukazatelů revenue managementu. Cílem práce je najít nedostatky v řízení, objevit příčiny neúspěchu tohoto podniku a navrhnout opatření, která by zlepšila aktuální nepříznivé výsledky hotelu. V první kapitole jsou nastíněna teoretická východiska hotelového řízení. Druhá část poskytuje informace o současné situaci na španělském, potažmo katalánském trhu cestovního ruchu a hotelového průmyslu. Také je přiblížena základní charakteristika hotelu. V praktické části jsou analyzovány ukazatele hotelového řízení, marketingový mix hotelu a situace na místním trhu. Závěrečná kapitola je věnována vyhodnocení provedených analýz a doporučením, která by zlepšila aktuální řízení. This thesis focuses on the management of the four-star hotel in Catalonia, Spain. It mostly analyses marketing management and revenue management indicators. The main objective of the thesis is to find out the problems in management procedure and suggest measures and solutions that could repair the economic damage the business has suffered, with the objective of being profitable. The first part provides a theoretical point of view of the hotel management. The second part is a comparative of the Spanish, and more specific, Catalonian tourism and hospitality industry market, giving also specific characteristics of the hotel. The practical part contains the analyses of the hotel management indicators, the marketing mix and the situation on the local market. The final chapter shows de outcomes of the analysis and contains recommendations to improve the actual management.
