Životní pojištění jako nástroj sloužící ke krytí rizik využívá nejen populace v produktivním věku, ale stále více bychom se měli zamýšlet i nad použitím tohoto produktu v předdůchodovém a důchodovém věku. S ohledem na demografický vývoj populace můžeme očekávat nárůst počtu osob ve vyšším věku, které budou mít zájem o využívání produktů životního pojištění jakožto nástrojů ke krytí rizik. V úvodu práce uvádíme dotazníkový průzkum potenciálních zájemců o pojištění, který informuje o preferencích k jednotlivým typům pojištění. Dále se v práci zaměřujeme na dvě výrazná rizika pro osoby v produktivním věku, riziko invalidity a závažných onemocnění. V dalších částech poté analyzujeme český, evropský a americký pojistný trh s ohledem na kategorii osob v předdůchodovém věku. Na závěr práce autor vydává doporučení pro produktové inovace na českém pojistném trhu. Not only productive age population uses life insurance as an instrument serving to cover the risks, but we should more consider using this product in pre-retirement and retirement age. With respect to demographics of the population, we can expect an increase in the number of our elderly population that will be interested in the use of life insurance products. In the introduction, we present a questionnaire survey of potential candidates for insurance product, that provides information about the preferences of the individual types of insurance. Further work focuses on two significant risks for people of working age, the risk of total disability and critical diseases. In the next part we analyze Czech, European and American insurance market with regard to the category of people approaching retirement age. In conclusion, the author makes recommendations for product innovation on the Czech insurance market.
