Cílem této bakalářské práce je příbližit kanadskou provincii Québek z hlediska ekonomického, kulturního a obchodního. První kapitola obsahuje obecné informace o této provincii, jako je geografie, historie či demografie. V kapitole druhé je zmapována québecká ekonomická situace tzn. makroekonomické ukazatele, zahraniční obchod a jednotlivá odvětví. Kapitola třetí se zabývá kulturními aspekty této provincie, včetně kulturních dimenzí dle vědce Geerta Hofstede. Ve čtvrté kapitole je popsáno již samotné obchodní jednání s québeckými partnery, které je také porovnáno s jednáním v ostatních částech Kanady. Poslední kapitola je částí praktickou, která je rozdělena na dvě části, a to na rozhovor s rodilým Kanaďanem a na dotazníkové šetření ohledně povědomí české veřejnosti o Québeku. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to approach the specifics of the Canadian province Québec in the field of economics, culture and business. The first chapter contains general information about this province, such as geography, history and demography. The second chapter analyzes the economic situation in Quebec, i.e. macroeconomic indicators, foreign trade and single sectors. The third chapter focuses on Québec's cultural aspects, including cultural dimensions by Geert Hofstede. The purpose of the fourth chapter is to describe a business meeting with a québec counterpart. This business meeting is then compared to a business meeting in other parts of Canada. The last chapter is practical and is divided into two parts. The first part includes an interview with a Canadian bank manager and the other one includes a survey of public awareness of Québec.
