Předmětem této bakalářské práce je pro Českou republiku specifický fenomén kulturních domů. Ty byly budovány především od šedesátých do osmdesátých let 20. století, a to i v řadě malých venkovských sídel. Smysluplné a ekonomicky udržitelné provozování těchto objektů přitom představuje v současné době pro jejich vlastníky či nájemce nelehký úkol. Práce téma rozpracovává jak ve směru současného využívání a fungování kulturních domů, tak i ve vztahu k jejich kulturnímu, sociálnímu a ekonomickému potenciálu. Zaměřuje se na popsání historických souvislostí a stejně tak i současné situace. Praktickou část tvoří studie orientovaná na ekonomické a socioekonomické aspekty fungování několika konkrétních kulturních domů v menších obcích České republiky, které se vzájemně liší přístupem k současnému provozování i strategií budoucího směřování. Cílem práce je popsání tohoto fenoménu a kritické zhodnocení přínosů jednotlivých kulturních domů, a to jak z pohledu ekonomického, tak i sociokulturního. Součástí výstupů jsou rovněž formulace realistických návrhů efektivního využití objektů kulturních domů do budoucna. The topics of this thesis are cultural houses, a specific Czech phenomenon. These houses were constructed from the 60s until 80s in many urban and rural settlements, including very small ones. Current holders are facing a challenge of reasonable and financially sustainable maintenance of these objects. This paper tackles the present use and functioning of cultural houses as well as their cultural, social and economic potential. It covers both the historic background and current situation. The empirical part of this thesis consists of a study of socioeconomic features of several cultural houses in small urban and rural settlements that vary in their approach to everyday functioning and future strategies. The aim of this thesis is to assess critically the economic and sociocultural contribution of particular cultural houses to the development of respective villages and towns. Additional output of this work includes realistic proposals for effective use of the examined objects in the future.
