Práce se zabývá animovanými filmy, jejichž distribuce je primárně určena pro kina, a návštěvníky českých kin. Představen je vývoj celovečerních animovaných filmů z historického pohledu a následně popisuje jejich distribuci do českých kin. Zabývá se filmovým marketingem a charakterizuje českého filmového diváka. Praktická část analyzuje změnu postavení celovečerních animovaných filmů v českých kinech v průběhu sledovaného období. Na analýzu navazuje dotazníkové šetření, jehož cílem bylo zjištění, proč chodí lidé do kina na animované filmy. Závěr práce obsahuje porovnání výsledků dotazníkového šetření s pracovní hypotézou a postavením animovaných filmů v kinech ČR. This thesis discusses the animated movies, which are distributed to cinemas, and Czech moviegoers. It presents the historical progress in feature-length animated movies followed by their distribution to Czech cinemas. It focuses on film marketing and then characterizes Czech moviegoer. The practical part of thesis analyses the change of the position of feature-length animated movies in Czech cinemas during certain period of time. The analysis is followed by questionnaire aiming to discover why people go to the cinemas to watch animated movies. The conclusion contains the comparison of the results of questionnaire with the hypothesis and the position of feature-length animated movies in Czech cinemas.
