Cílem diplomová práce je analýza makroekonomického vývoje Číny v letech 1990 - 2014 ve čtyřech hlavních ekonomických oblastech: výkonnost ekonomiky, finanční sektor, trh práce a vnitřní a vnější rovnováha. Hlavní hypotézou práce je, že Číně v nejbližších letech nehrozí hard-landing. Teoreticko-metodologická část se zaměřuje na vysvětlení základních pojmů a definování výzkumného rámce. Empirická část pak analyzuje vybrané ukazatele v tomto rámci, skládajícím se z vnější a vnitřní rovnováhy, trhu práce a demografického vývoje, finančního sektoru, fiskální a monetární politiky a dodatečných prorůstových faktorů. Vyústěním empirické části je konstrukce SWOT matice. Po zhodnocení výhledu vývoje ekonomiky a současných ekonomických politik a opatřeních je na základě identifikace slabých a rizikových míst navrženo doporučení pro nastavení budoucí hospodářské politiky Číny. The purpose of this diploma thesis is the analysis of macroeconomic development of China in 1990 - 2014 in four key economic areas: economic performance, financial sector, labor market and internal and external equilibrium. The main hypothesis is that China is not threatened by a hard-landing in the next few years. The theoretical part explains the basic terms and defines the research framework. In the empirical part is conducted the analysis of the selected indicators in that framework, consisting of internal and external equilibrium, labor market and demographic trends, financial sector, fiscal and monetary policies and additional growth factors. The result of the empirical part is the construction of a SWOT matrix. At the end there are proposed the recommendations for setting the future economic policy in China.
