Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou herní komunity v České republice pomocí sociální sítě Facebook. Práce má tři hlavní cíle. Zjistit, jak se liší preference českých hráčů počítačových her od zbytku světa. Za druhé zmapovat oblíbenost herních platforem mezi českými hráči. Třetím cílem je zjistit, jak vnímají hráči velké konkurující si vydavatele. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části jsou definovány pojmy z oblasti počítačových her a sociálních sítí, společně s výběrem vhodných kandidátů k analýze. Praktická část se dělí na tři kapitoly dle zkoumaných cílů. Pro splnění prvního cíle jsou analyzovány nejoblíbenější hry, herní žánry a herní weby. V další kapitole praktické části je analyzována oblíbenost herních platforem a poslední ze tří kapitol obsahuje analýzu oblíbenosti dvou herních vydavatelů. Analyzováno je tzv. word-of-mouth fanoušků her posbírané pomocí specializovaného programu ze sociální sítě Facebook. Výsledky analýzy jsou porovnávány mezi sebou i s poznatky z rešerše. Na základě zjištěných údajů je možné vypracovat lepší marketingové strategie pro český herní trh. Současně poslouží herním vydavatelům k zamyšlení se nad přístupem ke svým fanouškům. Bachelor thesis deals with analysis of gaming community in Czech Republic using social network Facebook. Thesis has 3 main goals. Find out how differ preferences of Czech video game players in comparison to the rest of the world. Secondly, chart popularity of several gaming platforms in Czech Republic. Third goal is to find out how Czech gamers perceive large competing game publishers. Thesis is divided into two main parts, theoretical and practical. There are definitions of terms related to video games and social networks in theoretical part, altogether with selection of appropriate candidates for analysis. Practical part is divided into three chapters accordingly to three main goals. To fulfill first goal there are analyzed the most favorite games, genres and websites about gaming. In next chapter is analyzed popularity of gaming platforms and the final chapter of the practical part includes popularity analysis of two large game publishers. There is analyzed so-called word-of-mouth of games fans which was collected from social network Facebook. Results are compared with each other and also with results from background research. Based on collected data, it is possible to prepare better marketing strategies for Czech market. It also can be used by game publishers because they can rethink their attitude towards their fans.
