Metoda komplexní hudební analýzy nabízí spolehlivou oporu při diskusi o druhové klasifikaci lidových tanců. Podle čistě hudebních znaků může pomoci roztřídit lidový taneční repertoár do skupin podle jednotlivých nápěvných typů. Je to metoda objektivní, vycházející z důkladného rozboru každé jednotlivé melodie. Její spolehlivost vzrůstá úměrně s počtem analyzovaných nápěvů. Complex musical analysis provides strong support in the process of potential classification of types of folk dances. Using the system of musical sings, it is able to classify all folk dances according to the individual types of tunes. An objective method, the analysis is thoroughly performed with every single melody.
