Práce zkoumá historický vývoj a současné postavení účetní profese v Bělorusku. Popisuje účetní sdružení a jejich role v současné regulaci účetního systému. Dále se práce věnuje perspektivám a směrům vývoje účetní profese z pohledu zavedení IFRS. Závěrem práce je popis etického kodexu a existující poptávky po kvalifikovaných účetních. The thesis describes the the historical development of the accounting profession and the system of accounting rules and regulations in Belarus. Apart from that, the research is devoted to the perspectives and vectors of the development of the accountant profession fro the prospective of the IFRS introduction. At the end of the research the ethic code and nowadays need for the qualified accountants will be described
