Příspěvek předkládá některé aspekty vývoje plzeňského opevnění v raném novověku a zaměřuje se zejména na každodenní realitu budování fortifikace v období třicetileté války. The paper presents some aspects of the development of the Pilsen fortification in the Early Modern Ages. It is focused especially on daily reality of the fortification works during the Thirty Years' War.
