Tématem bakalářské práce je zdravotně sociální problematika dospívajících a dospělých osob s epilepsií. Cílem bakalářské práce je analyzovat sociální postavení dospívajících a dospělých osob s epilepsií v oblasti vzdělávání, volnočasových aktivit a zařazení do kolektivu vrstevníků. Teoretická část bakalářské práce se věnuje charakteristice epilepsie, etologii onemocnění, první pomoci a okrajově zmiňuje i současné možnosti léčby epilepsie. Popisuje sociální význam onemocnění u dospívajících a dospělých osob. Pozornost je věnována vzdělávání, volnočasovým aktivitám a významu vrstevnické skupiny u dospívajících a mladých osob s epilepsií. V bakalářské práci jsou uvedeny možnosti sociální pomoci lidem s epilepsií i role sociálního pracovníka. Pro zjištění názoru komunikačních partnerů s epilepsií jsem zvolila kvalitativní výzkumnou strategii sběru dat, metodu dotazování a techniku polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Pro doplnění informací jsem prováděla analýzu lékařské dokumentace respondentů. Výzkumný soubor pro empirické šetření tvořili čtyři dospívající a pět mladých dospělých komunikačních partnerů, kteří jsou léčeni v dětské neurologické ambulanci. Byly stanoveny tři dílčí cíle v oblasti volby dalšího studia po absolvování základního vzdělání, v oblasti nabídky volnočasových aktivit a v oblasti začlenění dospívajících do kolektivu vrstevníků s ohledem na onemocnění epilepsií. Výsledky výzkumného šetření odpověděly na základní cíle bakalářské práce: Onemocnění u většiny komunikačních partnerů neovlivnilo výběr střední školy a nabídka volnočasových aktivit se jeví všem komunikačním partnerům jako uspokojivá. Současně bylo zjištěno, že téměř nikdo z nich nemá problém zařadit se do kolektivu svých vrstevníků a kamarádů. The bachelor thesis aim is to analyze the social status of adolescents and adults with epilepsy in the area of education, leisure activities and the inclusion into a group of peers. The bachelor thesis theoretical part deals with the characteristics of epilepsy, the disease etiology, the first aid and it also mentions current epilepsy treatment possibilities. It describes the social relevance of the disease within adolescents and adults. The attention is given to education, leisure activities and the relevance of the peer group within adolescents and young persons with epilepsy. There are options of the social help for people with epilepsy and the social worker role in the bachelor thesis. The bachelor thesis is focused on health and social problems of adolescents and adults with epilepsy.
