Tato práce se zabývá rizikovostí povolání zdravotnického záchranáře a cílem je zdůraznit nutnost zvýšení ochrany. Dělí se na teoretickou a výzkumnou část. V teoretické části je popsána práce u zdravotnické záchranné služby, jsou zde vytyčeny základní bezpečnostní opatření, osobní ochranné pracovní pomůcky a popsána nejčastější rizika, se kterými se při tomto povolání zdravotničtí záchranáři setkávají. Vše je podloženo legislativními předpisy. Výzkumná část byla provedena formou polo-strukturovaných rozhovorů s osmi respondenty, čtyřmi muži a čtyřmi ženami, z řad zdravotnických záchranářů v Jihočeském a Libereckém kraji. Základními cíli bylo zjistit, jakými riziky se cítí být záchranáři nejvíce ohroženi a jaké jsou možnosti nejlepší ochrany. Nejčastěji uváděná rizika byla infekce, napadení a dopravní nehoda. Nejlepší ochranou pro snížení rizika infekce je používání ochranných pomůcek, preventivní očkování a dodržování bezpečnostních postupů. Opatřením, kterým by se dalo bránit proti napadení, byla nejčastěji uváděna sebeobrana a lepší spolupráce s Policií. Riziko dopravní nehody se může snížit lepší adaptací řidičů, školeními v oblasti smyku a jízdy v obtížném terénu. Výsledky rozhovorů s ohledem na porovnání krajů nebyly výrazně rozdílné. Porovnáme-li rozdíl mezi odpověďmi mužů a žen, i zde byly odpovědi jen málo rozdílné. This thesis deals with the hazardous aspect of the profession of paramedics and the aim is to emphasize the need to increase their protection. The work is devided into theoretical and research part. The theoretical part describes the work at a medical rescue service. The basic emergency measures, personal protective equipment and the most common hazards are named here. Everything is supported with legislation. The research was carried out in the form of semi-structured interviews with eight respondents, four men and four women, paramedics from South Bohemia and Liberec region. The basic objectives were to determine what risks are the paramedics mostly threatened by and what are the options for their best protection. The most frequently reported risks were infection, attacks and a car accident. The best protection to reduce the risk of infection is the use of protective equipment, vaccination and compliance with safety procedures. Self-defence and better cooperation with the police were cited as the measures to reduce the risk of attacks. The risk of a car accident can be reduced by better adaptation of drivers, a skid training and driving in a difficult terrain training. The results of the interviews in the two regions were not significantly different. If we compare the responses of men and women, the answers were also almost the same.
