V současné době se objevuje spousta nových trendů v oblasti cestovního ruchu a gastroturistika je jedním z těch nejdůležitějších. Cílem práce je zjistit postavení gastroturistiky na trhu cestovního ruchu. Tento cíl je splněn tak, že na začátku je uveden vztah mezi cestovním ruchem a gastronomii a je zohledněná klasifikace gastronomických zájezdů. V práci jsou popsané nejnavštěvovanější destinace Evropy a je analyzovaná nabídka a poptávka po gastroturistice v těchto regionech. Následně jsou uvedené výsledky analýz a možné vlastní návrhy pro daný segment cestovního ruchu. Nowadays there is a lot of new trends in a tourism sector and gastronomic tourism is one of the most important one. The object of thesis is to define the status of gastronomic tourism on tourist market. This object is achieved by introduction of the relations between tourism and gastronomy and by the classification of gastronomic tours. In this thesis the most visited countries of Europe are described and there is the analysis of the offer and demand on gastronomic tourism in these regions. Afterwards the results of the analysis are presented and there are some suggestions for the gastronomic segment of tourism.
