Bakalářská práce se zabývá charakteristikou obchodních vztahů Evropské unie a seskupení MERCOSUR. Cílem předkládané práce je poskytnout ucelený přehled o obchodních tocích probíhajících mezi EU a jednotlivými státy MERCOSUR, a také o současném stavu jednání o Asociační dohodě. Práce obsahuje tři klíčové části. Nejprve pozornost je věnovana charakteristice obou celků se zaměřením na historický i současný vývoj EU a MERCOSUR. Následně je provedena analýza probíhajících obchodních toků mezi EU a MERCOSUR.Ve třetí kapitole bude rozebran vývoj obchodních vztahů EU a MERCOSUR, důraz je především kladen na současný stav jednání o Asociační dohodě, její potenciální přínosy a překážky bránící postupu v dalších jednání mezi partnery. This bachelor thesis describes and analyses trade relations between two integration blocs: the European Union and MERCOSUR. The aim of the thesis is to provide a complete overview of the recent trade flows between the EU and MERCOSUR member states and to describe an ongoing negotiations on the Association agreement. The thesis is divided into three parts. In the first section attention is paid to the general characteristics of the two trade blocs. Follows the analysis of the trade flows between the EU and MERCOSUR. The third chapter of the thesis is focused on the historical background of the bilateral relations between the EU and MERCOSUR. The second part of this chapter describes ongoing bilateral trade negotiations on the Association agreement, paying attention to the potential benefits of this agreement and the main obstacles to reaching it.
