Hlavním tématem práce jsou možnosti pojištění rizik v mezinárodním obchodě na českém pojistném trhu. Tyto možnosti jsou zkoumány v širším kontextu. Nejprve jsou představeny právní úpravy pojištění na našem území, vymezeny základní pojmy a představeny některé změny v právní úpravě v souvislosti s přijetím nového občanského zákoníku. Dále jsou představeny konkrétní druhy pojištění v mezinárodním obchodě a také některé mezinárodní dokumenty, které pojištění upravují. Poslední část práce zkoumá vývoj českého pojistného trhu po roce 1989 a jeho aktuální stav. V závěru práce jsou představeny také některé největší pojišťovny na našem území. The main topic of the thesis is the option of insurance in the international trade on the Czech insurance market. The insurance options are studied in a wider context. Firstly, the legal regulations of the insurance in our country and basic concepts are presented as well as some of the changes in regulations connected with the adoption of the new civil code. Secondly, types of insurance in the international trade and some international documents regulating insurance are mentioned. The last part deals with the development after the year 1989 and current situation on the Czech insurance market as well as with some of the largest insurance companies in our country.
