Bakalářská práce podává ucelený obraz o kultuře a jejích projevech v obci Terchová na Slovensku. V první části se práce zaměřuje na historické, geografické a etnografické podmínky formování místní kulturní identity. V druhé části popisuje hmotné a nehmotné prvky lokální kultury, kulturní aktivity, prostřednictvím kterých obec s těmito prvky nakládá, a významné osobnosti, které přispěly ke zviditelnění této lokality. Následuje souhrn kulturních institucí a spolků působících v obci a stručné informace o financování místních kulturních aktivit. Práci uzavírá analýza dotazníkového řešení zkoumajícího spokojenost obyvatelů Terchové s kulturní nabídkou obce, které je završené mými postřehy a návrhy řešení zjištěných nedostatků. Pro dokreslení obrázku o charakteru místní kultury obsahuje práce obrazové přílohy v podobě fotografií nejdůležitějších kulturních prvků. This bachelor's thesis reports compact view of the culture and its manifestations in the Terchová village in Slovakia. The first part of the thesis focuses on historical, geographic and ethnographic conditions of forming of the local cultural identity. The second part describes tangible and intangible elements of the local culture, the cultural activities as an application of these elements, and significant persons who drew attention to the locality. This is followed by a summary of the cultural institutions and associations operating in the village and brief informations about funding of the local cultural activities. The thesis is closed by an analysis of a survey exploring a contentment of the inhabitants of Terchová with the concept of the culture, topped with my remarks and suggestions to improve the identified insufficiencies. In attachments of the thesis there are photographs of the most important cultural elements to illustrate the character of the local culture.
